In this video, we celebrate the cooperation between CARICOM and Japan, showcasing the state-of-the-art Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation and Building Energy Management Systems at the CARICOM Secretariat, funded by the Government of Japan. The 400-kilowatt solar generation project, comprising servers, batteries, and 1,500 solar panels, was implemented through a US$17.8 million grant agreement between the Governments of Guyana and Japan, of which more than US$7 million supported the Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation and Building Energy Management Systems.
