REGIONAL ICT STEERING COMMITTEE TO PUSH DEVELOPMENT OF DRAFT ACTION PLAN

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) The work towards the development of a regional Information and Communication and Technology for Development (ICT4D) strategy and Action Plan will continue when the members of the Regional ICT Steering Committee meets in Barbados 13-17 October.

CHILEAN AND CARICOM OFFICIALS COLLABORATE ON SPS SYSTEM

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) Recognising the need to have a solid Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) regime in place in order to effectively become a viable trading partner Member States of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) are collaborating with the Organisation of American States (OAS) and the Government of Chile for a two day work shop on SPS measures.

PANCAP HOLDS VIII ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

REGIONAL CULTURAL INDUSTRY TASK FORCE LAUNCHED

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) The newly established Regional Task Force on Cultural Industries was officially launched today (23 October 2008) by the CARICOM Secretary-General at the CARICOM Secretariat.
