The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is deeply saddened by the loss of life following the 5.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti on Sunday 7 October, 2018. At least 15 people were killed and more than 300 were injured.

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) has restated its wholehearted support for Belize’s stance on its sovereignty as the country celebrates 37 years of independence.

A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for Dominica, Guadeloupe and Martinique, and a Tropical Storm Watch for Antigua/Barbuda, Montserrat, St. Kitts/Nevis, Saba and St. Eustatius.
