CARICOM to implement system to measure results of integration

The reform process that is underway in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is working towards a Results Based Management (RBM) system that will measure the tangible results of regional integration mechanisms.

CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque highlighted this move when he addressed the opening ceremony of the Twenty Eight Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government at the Marriot Hotel in Georgetown, Guyana on Thursday 16 February 2017.

National Company Registries Going Online

Company registries within the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) are set to go online this year. This development is due to an ongoing project funded by the 10th European Development Fund to create an online regional registry of companies. This will serve as a central repository of information on companies and other legal entities established in the CSME. This should address some challenges related to the Right of Establishment regime within the CSME.
