China to provide US$2 billion for Caribbean Co-financing Fund

WASHINGTON, Mar.17, CMC – The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) along with the People's Bank of China (PBC) have approved the China Co-financing Fund for Latin America and the Caribbean to support public and private sector projects that promote sustainable economic growth in the region.

STRENGTHENING THE INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSE TO HIV/AIDS IN THE CARIBBEAN - MEETING TO BEGIN IN TRINIDAD ON THE 1st OF FEBRUARY

On Thursday the Regional HIV/AIDS task force will convene it's  fifth meeting with the specific objective of formulating the plan of action for the European Commission-funded project aimed at strengthening the institutional response to HIV/AIDS/STI in the Caribbean. This meeting, which will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, is also the first of the project advisory group.
