From Dialogue to Action: Advancing Digital Transformation in the Caribbean

The second edition of the School of Digital Transformation and Innovation in the Caribbean (SoDTIC) successfully convened from 16-20 June 2025 at the Trinidad Hilton and Conference Centre in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. This premier capacity-building initiative brought together policymakers, regulators, academics, technical experts, and development partners from across Latin America and the Caribbean to engage in high-level dialogue and practical training on advancing digital transformation and innovation in the region.

CARICOM reviewing regional telecommunications environment

The Hon. Dickon Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada, will lead a review of the telecommunications environment in the Region. Prime Minister Mitchell is Lead Head of Government with responsibility for Science and Technology in the CARICOM Quasi Cabinet.

Caribbean Women on the Agenda at CANTO 2016

San Juan , 04/08/16 -  Wednesday August 3rd and there was no letting up of the pace and exuberance or participation as delegates started day three of the CANTO 32nd Annual Conference and Trade Exhibition which is currently taking place at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino from July 31st - August 5th.  

 

CARICOM and Mexico leaders hold third summit

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana)     Agriculture and disaster risk reduction take centre stage as Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and Mexico gather in Merida, Mexico for their Third Summit on Tuesday 29th April. The Summit will be preceded earlier in the day by a meeting of the Foreign Ministers.
