ST JOHN’S, Antigua – A prime minister for one of the sister islands in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) has condemned the shooting of a bank manager that occurred during an attack one of the bank’s branches in Antigua Monday night.
St Kitts & Nevis Prime Minister Denzil Douglas described the incident as regrettable.
Speaking on OBSERVER Radio’s Snake Pit programme he said, “I’m sorry to hear about this and some of the challenges we are facing even here in St Kitts & Nevis and the whole Caribbean. These are the realities of the crime challenges we are facing and it’s a serious challenge to our continuing economic development.”
