Regional diplomats appointed to key OAS bodies

WASHINGTON, CMC – Barbados Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS), John Beale, has been appointed Vice Chair of a Working Group that will lead discussions on the Strategic Vision of the hemispheric body.
The group, established by the OAS Permanent Council, is chaired by the Permanent Representative of Mexico, Emilio Rabasa Gamboa.
The group will be responsible for developing the political dialogue about the proposal presented by Secretary General José Miguel Insulza, in April.
