Practitioners in Education to get Opportunity in Designing Authentic Assessment

Classroom teachers across the Basic Education Sector and Teacher Educators are being given an opportunity to design authentic assessment activities to meet the challenges and opportunities of online teaching and learning.

The CARICOM Secretariat has organised a Designing Authentic Assessment  workshop for 1 October from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. ECT via Zoom.  The workshop will be facilitated by Dr Camile Dickson-Dean, Senior Lecturer, Higher Education Learning Design, University of Technology, Sydney Australia. 

Participants are expected to leave with an increased knowledge of how to develop authentic assessment in online teaching and learning, and to develop a template for creating authentic assessment customised to their needs.
