Opposition Leader comments on political impasse in St. Kitts-Nevis

Jul 22, 2013

KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, CMC - St. Vincent and the Grenadines Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace is calling on St. Kitts-Nevis Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas to have parliament debate a motion of no confidence in his administration without delay.
“You know, there is a creeping thing which is happening in these islands now. You had it in Grenada, you have it in St. Kitts now and we have it here too,” Eustace said at a protest meeting of his New Democratic Party (NDP) over the weekend.
Six opposition legislators in the twin-island federation filed the motion of no confidence in December last year. But it has not yet been heard with the government insisting that it is keeping with its agenda for the Parliament.
