Supervisory American Citizen Services Assistant

Incumbent is charged with supervising the American Citizen Services (ACS) unit within the Consular Section.  He/she provides guidance and training to the other three Foreign Service National (FSN) employees assigned to the unit, in performing both routine and complex ACS work.  Incumbent is responsible for processing to completion of all ACS work involving passport applications, reports of birth and death, financial assistance, claims to U.S.

Visa Assistant (NIV)

The incumbent is one of six NIV Visa Assistants providing the full range of visa services to approximately 40,000 NIV applicants per year from the 13 countries and territories in the consular district and third country nationals.  Daily work includes applicant intake, visa printing, and the in-processing and return of applicant passports via courier. Communicates with the public about NIV processes. Visa assistants carry-out responsible, detail specific duties in accordance with U.S.
