Santo Domingo. – Haiti’s ban on local products has prompted the young business leaders grouped in ANJE to call for a free trade agreement with that country.
"We must set clear rules, to see how we can reach an agreement, write it all down so that the products manufactured in Dominican Republic can be consumed at good prices in Haiti," said ANJE president of Frank Elias Ranieri.
He said the agreement means clear rules to import and export products and avoid future conflicts such as Haiti’s ban on the import of poultry products and plastics.
