GUYANA-POLITICS-High level security sector delegation to meet in Suriname

GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – Guyana and Suriname will begin high level security talks on Friday.
The two-day meeting is being is being held under the Presidential Engagement Initiative, the brainchild of former Guyana president Bharrat Jagdeo and Surinamese Head of State, Desi Bouterse. The last meeting of this nature was held in 2011.
The Guyana delegation, which includes the Guyana Defence Force's Chief of Staff, Rear Admiral Gary Best, Commissioner of Police, Leroy Brummel, Commissioner General, Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA), Khurshid Sattaur, Head of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU), James Singh, is being led by Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee.
