Grenada, China Sign MOU on Air Transport Cooperation

China and Grenada signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on air transport cooperation on September 11, according to a statement on the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC)'s website.

Keith Mitchell, Prime Minister of Grenada, visited the Chinese aviation regulator after he attended the 7th World Economic Forum, also known as the Summer Davos Forum, which was launched in Northeast China's Dalian on September 9-10.

Mitchell and Li Jiaxiang, chief of the CAAC exchanged in-depth views on strengthening cooperation between China and Grenada in the civil aviation sector. The two sides agreed to sign the air transport MOU at the meeting.

Grenada is an island country consisting of Grenada itself and six smaller islands at the southern end of the Grenadines in the southeastern Caribbean Sea. It has an estimated population of 110,000, with an area of 344 square kilometers.
