ST. GEORGE'S, Grenada, CMC – China is promising to deepen its relationship with Grenada eight years after the Caribbean island broke off diplomatic relations with Taiwan. Beijing’s first ever female ambassador to Grenada, Ou Boqian, said the relationship has grown over the years and “I am working to further enhance the relationship between China and Grenada”. Foreign Affairs Minister Nickolas Steele said he was confident that by the time her term of duty is over “you will be a sister and daughter of the soil”.
