The Region’s Ministers responsible for Community Affairs (Community Council of Ministers) met on Friday to review pressing matters to go before next month’s Inter-Sessional Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government in Belize.
Several finance, sustainable development and foreign policy issues received attention. Plans for a dialogue among Finance Ministers on the eve of the Inter-Sessional meeting were also discussed.
Chairman of the Community Council of Ministers, Belize’s Foreign Minister Hon. Wilfred Elrington and CARICOM Secretary-General, Ambassador Irwin LaRocque spoke with CARICOM Today after Friday’s meeting.
