The Twenty-Eighth Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held in Basseterre, Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis from 8 to 9 May 2025, under the chairmanship of the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Economic Development and Investment of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

CARICOM and The Philippines Discuss Strengthening Cooperation

Manalo, met ahead of the Twenty-Eighth Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) in Saint Kitts and Nevis.

CARICOM SG urges foreign ministers to align foreign policy around CARICOM’s core principles

(Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) - “In a world in which small states struggle to be heard, it is important to ensure we are well-coordinated around our fundamental principles.”

These sentiments were expressed by Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretary-General Dr Carla Barnett on Thursday, May 8 when she addressed the opening of the Twenty-Eighth Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations, in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
