Executive Development Program on Energy Planning

In March 2013, the Latin American Energy Organization (OLADE ) commenced the Executive Development Program on Energy Planning (EDPEP) that targets energy professionals from Government and private sector agencies, Universities and Research Institutes, as well as, Consultants. The broad objective of the Program is to update and improve the knowledge and skills of professionals in issues related to energy planning in countries of the Latin American and Caribbean Region.

The online training Programme commenced on 18 March 2013 and concludes on 19 July 2013 with a one week face-to-face workshop scheduled for 15-19 July in Cuba.  The CARICOM Secretariat promoted the Training Programme among Member States as part of an on-going collaboration between the CARICOM Secretariat and being conducted by OLADE under a Memorandum of Understanding.  Among the EDPEP participants is one CARICOM Secretariat staff.
