Heritage Square in St Vincent and the Grenadines is the venue for the Electric Vehicle Road Show. The show began this morning and will conclude at 3.00 pm.
The general public will have the opportunity to drive and understand the operation of electric vehicles. The event will also provide an opportunity for attendees to interact with electric vehicle suppliers and subject experts in the field of sustainable energy to gain understanding about how this technology can provide a cheaper and cleaner alternative to their transport needs.
The show is one of the activities hosted by St Vincent and the Grenadines during this week to highlight electric mobility and to create deeper understanding, and raise awareness of electric transport options and opportunities for the country. Earlier in the week, a consultation, dialogue and conference were held.
The CARICOM Secretariat, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are among the entities that collaborated to host the event.
