CASTRIES, St. Lucia, CMC – Dominica will be the first country within the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to participate in a national public awareness programme on the OECS Economic Union. OECS Director of Economic Affairs Randy Cato said the public awareness programme is aimed at providing information on the Economic Union to the general public. The team, which includes Elma Gene Isaac from the OECS Regional Integration Unit, the Senior Trade Policy Advisor, Allan Paul and Head of the Economic Development Policy Unit, Rodinald Soomer, as well as the Programme officer of the Social and Sustainable Development Division, Peter Murray and Programme officer for the 10th EDF Integration and Trade Project, Debra Blackman, will begin the public awareness programme on Tuesday.
