Leader of the re-elected Dominica Labour Party(DLP), Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit addressing the nation last night.

Preliminary results gave the DLP 15 of the 21 seats at stake with the other six going to the United Workers Party (UWP) led by Lennox Linton.  In the last election in 2009, the DLP won 18 seats and the UWP three.

A seven member CARICOM Electoral Observer Mission was in Dominica to monitor the elections and is expected to issue a preliminary report soon.
