CASTRIES, St. Lucia, CMC – The Caribbean debt crisis will be among matters discussed here this week as the Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) holds its annual meeting in St. Lucia.
Vice President of Corporate Services Yvette Lemonias-Sea said the bank, the region’s premier lending agency, will stage a seminar “on debt and on debt sustainability, debt reduction.
“What can we as small developing countries do about this? What should we be asking of the multilateral development partners and other development partners and other commercial institutions? How did we get here? And what can we do about it?”
