The 19th edition of the Caribbean Week of Agriculture (CWA) will be launched on Tuesday, 15 July 2025, setting the stage for the event which will be held in St. Kitts and Nevis from 29 September – 3 October. CWA 2025 will be held under the theme ‘Sowing Change, Harvesting Resilience: Transforming Our Caribbean Food Systems for 2025 and Beyond’.
The young farmer from Dominica, Kevorn Vidal, received the 2024 CARICOM Youth Farmer of the Year award at the opening ceremony of the 18th Caribbean Week of Agriculture in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, 7 October 2024.
Ministers of Agriculture from the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will meet in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on 11 October 2024 in a special session of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED). The Ministerial Meeting is the final activity of the 18th Caribbean Week of Agriculture (CWA) now underway in Kingstown.

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman, – The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) may have made more progress in its agricultural sector than it realised, an official from the Pacific said, as his region takes lessons from the Caribbean for its first Pacific Week of Agriculture, slated to take place next year.
Technical officials in the agriculture sector on Tuesday morning began preparatory discussions ahead of the Special Ministerial Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) in the Cayman Islands on Friday.
The Ministerial Meeting is one of the key events of the Caribbean Week of Agriculture (CWA) now underway in Grand Cayman under the theme ‘Investing in Food and Agriculture’.

The meeting is being held as part of the Caribbean Week of Agriculture, which is being hosted in Cayman under the theme, “Investing in Food and Agriculture.”
