Regional Project Pushes Employment Through Creativity

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 10, 2014 (SKNIS): The Creativity for Employment and Business Opportunities (CEBO) project launched its six-day Training of Trainers Workshop today (June 10) in St. Kitts.

CEBO is funded jointly by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the governments of Italy and Spain, and is led by the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat. It is intended to improve the capacity for entrepreneurship among youth in various Member States.

CEBO continues with Training of Trainers Workshop in Trinidad and Tobago

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana)     The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat led Creativity for Employment and Business Opportunity (CEBO) programme continued with a training of trainers workshop in Trinidad and Tobago on Monday (7 April).

The project which is being funded under the CARICOM- Spain Citizen Security project is intended to enhance the capacity for sustainable livelihoods among youth by introducing CEBO in five Member States, namely, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago.

CEBO hosts first Community Based Workshop in Guyana

Regional Creativity for Employment and Business Opportunity (CEBO) to be introduced in Guyana

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana)     A number of Guyanese youth interested in starting their own businesses will soon be benefitting from entrepreneurial workshops and seminars hosted through the regional Creativity for Employment and Business Opportunity (CEBO).  The programme will start with a training of trainers workshop Monday October 21- Thursday October 24.
