PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad - The Caribbean Local Economic Development Project (Cariled) has a new programme directo. Alix Yule will direct the six year CIDA funded Local Economic Development (LED) project within 14 Caribbean countries. She will first be based at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) headquarters in Ottawa, Canada.
Yule brings a wealth of knowledge to Cariled with over 20 years of experience in the field of international development in a number of countries in the Caribbean, Africa and Asia. She has managed several LED and local governance bilateral projects, and has had extensive experience in Results Based Management.
