Victoria Chalmers is Montserrat’s female CARICOM Youth Ambassador. Her interest in youth leadership was first kindled in her teen years when she joined the Student Leadership Team at the Montserrat Secondary School. There, Victoria engaged in several projects to benefit her schoolmates.

As a CARICOM Youth Ambassador, she intends to continue promoting the interests of her peers while strengthening her leadership, advocacy, and networking skills. Victoria’s main priority is ensuring that Montserrat’s youth have every opportunity for success. In her position as a News Reporter in the Government of Montserrat’s Broadcasting Unit, she hosts the bi-monthly radio programme “The Youth Speak” highlighting the achievements of Montserrat’s youth.
