A number of CARICOM Heads of Government have joined their counterparts from across the Commonwealth for the two-day Summit of Commonwealth leaders which opened in Malta this morning.
Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings, bring together 53 Commonwealth nations, (mainly former British colonies) every two years.
This meeting will focus heavily on climate change and security issues. The leaders will also elect a new Commonwealth Secretary-General.
