CARICOM and UNDP share a side-event at COP 23

CARICOM Chairman, Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell of Grenada and his Saint Lucian counterpart Prime Minister Allen Chastanet along with CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque were part of a Caribbean Community delegation at a CARICOM-UNDP side event at the COP 23 now taking place in Bonn , Germany.
CARICOM, with support from the UNDP, will host a high-level Pledging Conference on 21 November 2017 at UN Headquarters in New York to mobilise support for the islands affected by recent mega hurricanes Irma and Maria and to strengthen resilence across the Caribbean Community.
Commonwealth Secretary-General Baronnes Patricia Scotland also participated in the side-event.
