Cheryl Lewis

Cheryl Lewis is a Jamaican attorney-at-law and energy-sector leader who serves as Deputy Director-General of the Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR), with responsibility for Legal and Consumer and Public Affairs. A British Chevening Scholar with more than 22 years of experience in the energy and regulatory sphere, she has provided strategic legal and regulatory guidance on electricity projects, consumer matters, and renewable energy development in Jamaica. Lewis was recognised with the CARICOM Women in Sustainable Energy (WISE) Award 2025 in the Utilities and Industry category for her contribution to advancing sustainable energy in the Caribbean
