1.We, the leaders of Brazil and countries of the Caribbean, met in Brasilia, on 13 June 2025, to address issues of common interest and strengthen channels of dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation. The attendance of a significant number of Heads of State and Government, senior officials, as well as chief administrative officers of regional organizations, illustrates the importance attached by the participants to the Brazil-Caribbean Summit.

CARICOM SG accredits new Brazilian Ambassador

In this regard, they committed to hosting the first meeting of the CARICOM-Brazil Joint Commission in 2024 to rationalise the modalities for deeper collaboration.

General Assembly.

Brazil cancels advance team trip for state visit to U.S.

BRASILIA, (Reuters) – Brazil has canceled a trip by an advance team to Washington to prepare for a visit by President Dilma Rousseff that might be called off after revelations the United States spied on her private communications.
Brazil’s presidential palace said yesterday it canceled a trip by an advance team of logistical planners, security personnel and protocol officers that was due to leave for Washington this weekend to start preparing the Oct. 23 state visit. No reason was given for the cancellation.
