GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – A three-day bi-national conference on health for Guyana and Suriname begins here on Thursday. It is being organised by the Pan Caribbean Partnership against HIV and AIDS (PANCAP) in collaboration with the German International Cooperation (GIZ), EPOS Health Management and the Guyana government. Health Minister Dr. Bheri Ramsaran and his Surinamese counterpart Michel Bolkland as well as senior officials from both countries will attend the conference that has also attracted the participation of the Head of the Pan American Health Organisation/World Health Organisation (PAHO/WHO) in Suriname Dr. Guillermo Troya, and his colleague Dr. Gustavo Bretas.
