As Barbados prepares to host the Thirty-Sixth Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of theCaribbean Community (CARICOM) next week, its Youth Parliament is today discussing the topic ‘CARICOM – A Regional Integration Project’.
According tot he Barbados Government Information Service, the debate is a part of the Government’s outreach programme to sensitise the public about the importance of CARICOM and Regional integration.
The debate began at 10:00 am in the Lower House of Parliament, and will conclude at 3:00 p.m.
The debate is being coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Office.
