The second edition of the School of Digital Transformation and Innovation in the Caribbean (SoDTIC) successfully convened from 16-20 June 2025 at the Trinidad Hilton and Conference Centre in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. This premier capacity-building initiative brought together policymakers, regulators, academics, technical experts, and development partners from across Latin America and the Caribbean to engage in high-level dialogue and practical training on advancing digital transformation and innovation in the region.

Careful validation, collaboration, and ethical considerations are pivotal to shaping digital development and confronting the challenges of rapid technological change.

‘Girls in ICT, Building CARICOM’ is the theme guiding the Community's celebration of International Girls in ICT Day on 24 April. The Day is an annual observance led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to encourage girls and young women to pursue careers in information and communication technologies (ICT) and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEM/STEAM).  

Through it all, our modus operandi has been to speak with one voice and to premise all our interactions on the vision of a Caribbean Community, which is truly “A Community for All”.
