Amb. Tross to represent CARICOM at COP15 High Level Event

High Commissioner of Saint Kitts and Nevis to Canada, Ambassador Sherry Tross, will Sunday represent the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) at a European Union/Organisation of African Caribbean and Pacific States/United Nations Environment Programme High Level Event at COP15.

The fifteenth Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 15) is now underway on Montreal, Canada. The High Level Forum will be held under the theme ‘Biodiversity Action For and By the South’.

Amb. Tross will join other discussants to identify plans and specific initiatives to support OACPS Member States to foster a coalition of actors to achieve the vision of the Convention on Biological Diversity by 2050.

She will speak about CARICOM’s plans related to national Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAPs) support, implementation options and other matters.
